Commonwealth Car clubs organises two car shows a year at the Alexander stadium. As of 2025 they will be called Retro & Refined.
Here are some photos from the Commonwealth car club’s second car show of 2024. We saw the return of the Vintage Daimler bus, which was provided by National Express West Midlands. This time, the club was set up on the east side of the stadium, next to the beautiful Perry Reservoir, park, and canal. Some of the Commonwealth car volunteer drivers made a small section of the UK Union flag, just like they did in the opening ceremony. They even added a small remote control, can you spot it? The event also had the exciting moment of crowning our very first Best in Show award. Jonathan Cotterill and his Mini won this award!
